I chatted with a few of my friends on Facebook regarding the Farmville game. Some of them got started in the game but one of their main questions they asked me is how to level up in the game quickly.

When I think about it, what they wanted is to find a short cut of a Farmville cheat strategy. Are there such things?

Well, there are certain ways which will get you level up really fast. That approach is through investing in new buildings. To start buying new buildings, you have to begin at the bottom and work your way up. Sorry, there is no short cut for that.

It will take some time and depending how often you check on your farm. But sooner or later, you will have access to the building option. Trust me, when you reached that stage, you will be spoilt for choices.

When you are ready for new building construction, there are more than 30 options to choose from! The structures ranges from a simple too shed to a large and fancy manor house. Just imagine a farmer wearing overall living in a shining white mansion. Cool!

Yup, the buildings can get very pricey but they can give you a ton of experience points. If you want to level up, this is the fastest approach I can think of.

When you buy a new building, it also adds a nice aesthetic touch to your farm. The challenge most people will face is trying to make it fit perfectly. From my experience, it is very hard to do that. Some things will always seem out of place. My advice is, just live with it. Keep expanding your farm and level up.

No doubt investing in buildings is like a Farmville cheating approach to leveling, but you have to be careful though. Buildings offer the most experience points in the game but do some evaluation first.

It is worth clearing your bank account to buy a building just for the experience points? What if you get into a cash flow problems?

It is best to do some due diligent before you commit to buying a new structure for your farm. Remember, you can always sell off your structure if you need the cash. Unfortunately, you will not get back you full capital investment.

Why do we play Farmville on Facebook? It is a lot of fun but the best of all is showing off your farm to your friends. I guess it is an ego thing :)

Once you get a hand on the harvesting cycle, you will start to build up cash in your bank. With money at hand, this is where the game starts to get really fun. You can now start to explore what other option Farmville has to offer.

The next stage in the game is all about decorating and enhancing the value of your farm. Some are good value for money investment, others, well it is just plain fun!

You have a choice of doing whatever you want to do with your farm. You have total control!

I guess that is one of the reasons why so many people love the game. It gives them a sense of control and the ability to dictate the end outcome.

Now, you have the option to build additional structures such as barn, stable, storage shed etc. For it to have a more homely feel, you can add wooden fences and plant trees around your farm. You can also start to raise barn animals such as cows, ducks, horses etc.

Why do you want to do all these?

Again, to impress your friends when they come to visit! It is like showing off your own masterpiece. Showing them something that you spent time to take care and love. They will be at awe when they see how magnificent your farm has become.

It is a good feeling when your friends ask you for some Farmville game tips so they’ll have a farm as nice as yours.

Here’s something most new Farmville players do not know. To advance in the game and to have a greater gaming experience (have more fun), you need to acquire experience points.

When you just got started in the Facebook Farmville online game, your initial crop options are strawberries, eggplant, wheat, and soybeans.

Which plant should you start seeding?

Here’s a secret most Farmville newbie do not know. If you want to advance in the game quickly, you have to get experience points as fast as possible. And the secret to fast experience points is choosing the right crop to plant.

Different Crop Yields Different Experience

It may not be obvious, but different plant can yield different experience points for you. Crops that take at least a day to grow will grant you 2 experience points for each patch of land you plant them on.

Most crops will take at least this long to grow to maturity. If you want to get ahead of your fellow Farmville friends fast, choose the strawberries option!

The strawberries plant only takes a few hours to mature. In fact, your crops will be ready to harvest 4 hours after you plant them. However, it will only get you one experience point per plot of land planted. Half the experience point, but you cut down on your waiting time.

To take advantage of the fast maturity of strawberries, you have to keep a close eye on the plant. Meaning, make sure you will have access to your Farmville game in the next 4 to 5 hours after you’ve put in the strawberry seeds.

Here’s a good Farmville tip for you. You have a grace period of 8 hours to tend to your strawberry crops. After that, it will start to wilt and you won’t be able harvest them.

Repeat the plowing, seeding and harvesting of the strawberry plants quickly. Very soon, you will be collecting lots of experience points and advancing in the Farmville game.

Soon, your friends will be wondering how you manage to grow your farm so fast. You can tell them your secret, or you can just give them an evil grin ;)
